‘Sam' is our 10 year old black welsh cob, with 4 white feet a beautiful head & that Gwenllan Sam fire that has proven so popular in the Welsh Cob world over recent years. Sam's sire needs no introduction Gwenllan Sam is out of one of the best mares of her generation Gwenllan Sali a Prince of Wales cup Winner and Royal Welsh winner on numerous occasions.

His dam Cruglwyd Elin by Derwen Desert Express is a Lampeter and Royal Welsh winner by the great producer Derwen Desert Express to who Sam is classically line bred.

Being 15.0HH ‘Sam' throws scopy foals with plenty of bone and sweet heads. Several fillies are retained at the stud. Sam has produced many good ride and drive cobs. Such as Horsmans Momentum who qualified for the national driving championships twice in his first 3 shows.

New for the 2012 season to limited mares is The Landlord (AKA Bobtail Barry) a stunning piebald traditional gypsy cob going back to the old welsh horse he is beautifully marked with tons of feather and bone. A wonderful pony head and apple rump, ‘Barry' stands 15.2HH and has a wonderful temperament and plenty of presence a real eyeful and sort hard to find these days.
